LOGIC LESSON: It IS possible to get tears in your skin if you go fast enough, but by then you should be blacked out so you wouldn't feel anything. Also, your guts would be squished to a certain side of your body depending on your direction....
Sorry, we've been studying speed and velocity in science. Well, Hooded Guy is awfully hard on Shadow AND Amy now, huh? Poor Shadow. He has to make a very difficult decision. So will he go to the future and help Amy(who can't do it without Shadow!!!) save people he doesn't like? Or will he go to the past and see Maria? The answer seems pretty obvious.
